By using the Website, requesting a quote, placing an order for Services or Products, or allowing installation or maintenance by Metric Air Limited, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Services, Products and Orders

Metric Air Limited provides HVAC installation, maintenance services, water-purification rentals, and related services (collectively, “Services”). We may also supply equipment or products as part of those Services. When you place an order or request Services, you agree that:

  • All information you provide (address, installation details, contact information) is accurate and complete.
  • You are authorized to request Services at the premises specified.
  • We reserve the right to accept or refuse orders at our discretion.

3. Installation, Use & Compliance

When our Services include installation or setup of HVAC or water-purification equipment:

  • You must ensure access to the installation location and necessary permits or approvals (if required by local regulations).
  • The equipment must be used only for its intended purpose, and maintained as per our guidelines or manufacturer instructions.

Improper use, neglect, unauthorized modifications, or failure to follow installation/maintenance instructions may void warranty and service obligations.

4. Warranty & Defects

For equipment supplied under Services, we provide a warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 24 months from date of shipment or installation (unless otherwise specified per product).

This warranty does not cover defects or damages caused by:

  • Improper installation (if not installed by qualified installer)
  • Use outside product’s published capacity or intended use
  • Neglect, misuse, lack of maintenance, or environmental conditions beyond intended use
  • Failure to comply with applicable codes, regulations or provided instructions

If, during the warranty period, a part is found defective, we or the manufacturer may repair or replace the defective part (at our discretion), free of charge for parts. Labour, removal, re-installation, transport/shipping costs are your responsibility.

Equipment must not be returned without prior authorization. Any return must be freight pre-paid by you and sent to an address designated by us/manufacturer.

5. Returns, Cancellations & Non-Returnable Items

If you want to return or cancel a product or equipment provided (when allowed), the following applies:

  • Returns must be pre-authorized (via a Return Material Authorization — RMA) before sending back. Without prior authorization, returns will not be accepted.
  • Returned items must be unused, in their original condition and packaging, with all components, manuals, and packing materials intact.
  • Custom-ordered, specially manufactured, or non-stock items (e.g. custom HVAC units, non-standard configurations, rental-specialized units) are final sale — non-returnable.
  • Services (installation, labour, rental service) once provided are non-refundable. Returns or cancellations are only possible before installation or dispatch, subject to our discretion.
  • Non-defective returns (i.e. no defect, but customer changed mind) are subject to a restocking or handling fee as per our discretion, and may only be accepted within a limited window (for example, within 30 days of supply/shipment). This gives us ability to recover costs incurred.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Metric Air Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of our Website, Services, or Products — including, but not limited to, loss of profits, property damage, or loss of business. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the Products or Services under which the claim arose. Similar to disclaimers used by HVAC suppliers.

7. Customer Obligations & Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Metric Air Limited, its employees, agents and affiliates from any third-party claims, damages, losses or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your misuse, improper installation, negligence, or violation of these Terms or any laws/regulations.

8. Third-Party Links and Services

Our Website may contain links to third-party websites or services. We do not control those external sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices or policies. Use of such third-party sites or services is at your own risk. We encourage you to read their terms and policies carefully.

9. Privacy & Data Use
