Warranty Policy

Warranty Coverage

We warrant that the equipment supplied by Metric Air Limited will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service, for a period of 24 months (2 years) from the date of shipment (or as otherwise specified per product documentation).

 

When the Warranty Does Not Apply

This warranty will not apply if any of the following conditions are true:

  • The equipment was not installed by a qualified installer in accordance with installation instructions provided with the product.
  • The equipment was not installed in compliance with applicable local, state or national codes and regulations.
  • The equipment was misused, neglected, or not maintained properly.
  • The equipment was operated outside its published capacity or intended use conditions.
  • The invoice or payment terms of the sale were not honored as per the sales agreement.

 

What We Provide Under Warranty

If within the warranty period any part of the equipment is found to be defective in material or workmanship, we (or the manufacturer) — at our discretion — will repair or replace the defective part at no charge for parts. However, you (the buyer) are responsible for all labor costs associated with repair or replacement.

Any equipment returned for warranty service must first be authorized by us. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted. All returns must be shipped by the buyer, freight prepaid, to a location designated by Metric Air Limited or the manufacturer.

 

Limitations and Exclusions

We shall not be liable for incidental or consequential losses, damages, or costs (including but not limited to loss of profits, or additional operating costs) resulting from malfunctioning equipment. The warranty only covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and does not cover damages related to installation, misuse, neglect, improper maintenance, or external causes (e.g. power surges, environmental conditions, alterations).

 

Variation by Product

Some of our products may carry different warranty periods or special warranty terms. Please refer to the individual product manuals or documentation to confirm the applicable warranty period and conditions.

  • Order or invoice number
  • Product model and serial number (if applicable)
  • Description of the issue/fault
  • Date of purchase/shipment and installation details

 

Important Notes

Warranty coverage is valid only for the original purchaser. The warranty applies only if the equipment remains in its original installation location and is used under normal operating conditions. Warranty does not cover routine maintenance, consumables, filters, or wear and tear. Labour, removal, installation, shipping, and handling costs are not covered under this warranty.

Metric Air Limited reserves the right to update or modify this Warranty Policy at any time. Any changes will be published on our website, and future purchases will be subject to the updated policy. Please review this page periodically to stay informed of any changes.
